then the players on the top money will want even more

and thats why we have a strict wage structure

But Cesc is about to sign a new deal worth a reported £100k a week. And Gallas is on about £80k. So much for a strict wage structure

If Gallas is going to be making 80k a week then there is no reason why Flamini should not be at around 70-75k. He has been so much more consistant than Gallas has all season.

dont get me wrong, im not saying flamini is bad

but he has to do it over more then 1 season, begining of this season i wanted him to leave as i saw no future, by the end of it we are giving him a 75k a week contract

it makes no sense, you can not get a contract of that value over a one good season period,

yes give him a decent contract, with conditions of improvement if he continues his progress,

there are better players out there worth that wage that arent getting it

To be fair Hussy this is his first season at the club that he has been given a good run in the team in a central role.

AW doesn´t like to spend but he also doesn´t like to show his cards. He sometimes has a surprise and it could be a nice surprise. We might not even know the player (Sagna and Eduardo anyone ?) but there will be new signings this coming summer, that is for sure ...

But the point is that AW has missed out on good players because he refuses to pay out the asking price.

Look at Yaya Toure. We could of signed him 5 years ago for £3m but AW only wanted to pay £1m. Again with Ibrahimovic and Ronaldo.

I whole heartedly agree. We could grab Modric for between 12 and 15 mil this summer but I doubt we will do it. We are too cheap. It makes no sense. I am tired of hearing all of this Rosicky bullshit. Face it, the man is ALWAYS injured, what makes anyone think that next year will be any different. This year was supposed to be different yet here we are. He has only played 18 in all competitions this season. and over 2 year he has only played 44 games. look at what not having suitible "back ups" this season has gotten us. Granted, I will be the first to admit that we have had an amazing season but I also believe if we had more depth than I think we would still be top of the league. I only hope that Wenger actually makes some solid moves this summer. it is clear we are not deep or wide enought, he needs to fix those problems and keep the players we have.

Carrick was a great player. Was gutted when he was sold. He wanted to stay in London and Wenger saw him as the perfect replacement for Vieira. I never did understand why Wenger didnt sign him TBH?

Wenger cares about developing players. He let players like Sidwell go to further their careers as opportunities at Arsenal would be limited, though Sidwell was happy to stay.

He probably expected Vieira to stay for a few years and was probably already making plans for Cesc.

Just looked though your players in forum and see you have been linked with a number of players.

But most of them are unknown? I though Arsenal would want to sign a few World class players this time? I can see clubs like Fulham signing cheap unknown players but the Arsenal? :?

Who the hell are....

Miralem Pjanic
Jonathan de Guzman
Matias Delgado
Zdravko Kuzmanovic.
Ignasi Miquel
Ljubomir Fejsa
Loic Perrin
Thiago Neves
Diogo
Matias Fernandez
Dentinho
Anderson Hernanes de Carvalho Andrade
Per Ciljan Skjelbred
Piet Velthuizen
Tresor Mputu
Andre Ayew
Marcelo Mattos.............

I could go on...............I though Arsenal would be link with players like Robinho? Maybe the days or attracting big names to the club is over?

Don't believe all them links, most of them are just TribalFootball.

Who the fuck was Bacary Sagna? That's what everyone asked? Now amongst the best RBs in the league. Don't let reputation fool you.
